The Paciulli family came from Mondrone, a little southern Italian town near Bari. As far as I know, there were six children: Rosina, Nicolina, Vincenzella, Giovanni, Palma and her twin, who died very young. Rosina and Nicolina stayed in Italy, and I don't know anything about their families. Vincenzella, Giovanni and Palma came to the United States.

Uncle Johnny had olive trees and I remember going over with Mama (Palma) to get olives. He had already made the salted ones but he still had barrels of fresh olives that Mama could cure. He and Mama liked to joke around and we had a good day.
